But we also learned about ways in which everyday Americans are finding room for improvement, resisting these historical economic trends in unexpected ways. In roughly 200 words, describe one way in which Americans are making a difference in the economy in unexpected ways. You are welcome to elaborate on any of the course elements in the Module, or do a little research on your own to share with the class. What might these "improvements" reveal about how we define "American" culture and society in an anthropological sense?
